About Me

I am a UX Designer with a background in Illustration and customer service. I was drawn to UX Design because of my love of visual designs and human behaviors-their wants and needs.

  • Years in customer service have taught me that actions speak louder than words. During interviews users say one thing but when tested their behaviors don’t connect with their words.

  • Colorful and clean designs are my bread and butter.

  • I am a cheerful friendly person. I work well in a group but I work just a well on a team of one.

Things I Love

I love to create. There are so many ideas that I want to learn and pour my creativity into. I can be found drawing, painting, crafting. When I’m not being artsy, I spend time with my cat, reading, video games, exploring outdoors, and traveling. There are so many things I want to try and create. I am trying day by day to cross things off my list.

About You

You have a diverse team of creative problem solvers. You maintain a high bar for the work and skills you offer. You are a group who cares about each other and personal lives. People are people and they need time and space to themselves. Which includes the ability to work from home or an office.

Research

My customer service experience enhances my ability to decipher and understand users thoughts and actions. Which helps me to discover users needs. fff fff

Defining

Sorting user information and road mapping their needs can be challenging and fraught with danger, if not careful. Assumptions and biases are something to look out for. To combat any danger, I continuously go back to my research to make sure all my actions align with it.

Designing

Designing is my favorite aspect of a project. I love using my user research to come up with sketches. Sketching is my main source of brainstorming and the foundation for branding and all my wireframes. hello

Testing

Prototyping and user testing are also my favorite. Creating prototypes is fun. I love visually seeing all the pages and actions connect and affect each other. I also enjoy seeing a user discover and explore a prototype for the first time and learning their perspective.
